One Book, One Community
An annual county wide reading event. This year the title is "Flight 93: The Story, the Aftermath, and the Legacy of American Courage on 9/11," by Tom McMillan. Registered participants will be called to pick up their books as soon as the books arrive. Participants will need to be at the August 1st book discussion at Jeannette Public Library to be eligible for the September 26th bus trip to the Flight 93 crash site in Somerset County. Every Hero Has a Story
The summer library program for children "Every Hero Has a Story," will begin on Thursday, June 18th at 10:30 a.m. with the last program on Thursday, July 16th at 10:30 a.m. Students from grades 1 through 6 are invited.
